Gushing bei einem Kristallweizen? Es gibt immer ein erstes Mal…Überraschend bananiger Antrunk, spritzig, zu Beginn ohne Herbe. Diese wird im Mittelteil stärker, geringfügig süß, rund. Kein typisches Kristallweizen, man erkennt das Ursprungsbier noch gut. 6/9/9/8/7/8

Many thanks to kevnic2008 for this bottle! Smooth and slightly sweetish beginning. Caramel, grain, worth. Not too much depth, dry grainy with a caramelly hint in the aftertaste. Round and nice!

(swing top bottle, 33cl) Clear, ruby colour with a beige medium-sized foamy head. Leathery and leafy dark malty aroma with notes of liquorice, dark chocolate and a whiff of espresso. Moderately sweet and slightly roasty bitter flavour, medium to full bodied with a calm carbonation. Dark and mildly roasted malty taste with notes of sweet liquorice and chocolate, lingering into the sweet and delicately bitter finish with a muted alcoholic strength. Likeable. 09.XII.15

(swing top bottle, 33cl) Cloudy, amber colour with a beige and firm foamy head. Yeasty, wheaty and mildly cara-malty aroma with notes of bubblegum, banana and candied fruits, also a slightly sugary vinous and phenolic spicy touch. Moderately sweet and delicately bitter flavour, surprisingly light bodied, medium bodied at best with a modest carbonation. Present wheat character, bubblegum and loads of banana, some floral hops in the background; almost a bit slim wheaty, yeasty and fruity finish with a restrained hop bitterness at the very end. A tad slim and not overly exciting. 08.XII.15

Langhalsbügelverschlußflasche: Deep golden with a chestnutty sheen, cloudy, slowly collapsing loose off-white head; bananas, dried berries, wheat and yeast in the nose, some subdued herbal to floral hops in the background; quite solid sweet-bitter flavour, a slight acidity underneath; full bodied, not really soft; oranges and other fruits in the quite robust yeasty-wheaty finish, still accompanied by some traces of yeast. Good, still not too exciting…

Bottle(.33l Longneck-Bügelverschluß, purchased at the brewpub):Deep amber coloured, presumably clear, ruby sheen, stable creamy off-white head; mild nose of dark and toasty malt with a tinge of chocolate and coffee; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied and smooth; slightly lingering chocolatey and toasty finish.
