Bomber from Tavour. Nose is cloves, caramelized candy sugar, bubblegum, green tart apples, and a little grassy hops. Clear yellow with a medium heavy lacing white head. Flavor is moderately sweet with a small bitter pop and fruitiness.

Bottle. Fresh blackberries, chocolate caramel malt, and dry hay aroma. Dark brown with small head. Mildly sweet blackberry, chocolate malt, and lightly bitter dry hay flavor. Nice body and balance. Extremely drinkable.

Draft. Earthy hay, orange, lime, and malt aroma. Hazy pale yellow with small head. Sweet tangy lime/lime peel and malt flavor. Acidic finish. Tasty.

Draft. Mezcal, lemon malt, and straw aroma. Hazy golden yellow with small head. Mezcal, citrus malt, and moderately bitter herbal grass flavor. Good body. Not sure how much I liked the mixture - at times it tasted oxidized but think it was just the combination.

Can. Smoky wood, yeast, cocoa, and malt aroma. Black with moderate tan head. Sweet chocolate malt, yeast, and mildly bitter herbal hay/ash flavor. Good body. Very pleasant.

Draft. Brown with ruby highlights. Small beige head, diminishing. Aroma of dark fruit, caramel, sweet raisin. Hint of cherry. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes moderately sweet and lightly bitter. Medium body, watery/sticky texture, moderate carbonation. Sweet with fruit notes. Muted or missing Belgian characteristics except for the sugar candy.

Draft, from notes. Clear amber maroon color, medium off white head. Aroma of candied cherries. Taste has raw brown bread and fruit. Nice.

Draft: Clear gold with a white head. Wheat malt, light fruit scent. Banana, yeast, wheat malt flavour. sweet.....very tasty. Drinks much lighter than one would expect.

Bottle - Shared with my dad, day after mom’s funeral - Pours black tan head - nose/taste of maple syrup, oak, bourbon, dark chocolate, dark fruits and dark bread - medium body.

Draft: Oily black/brown with a small tan head. Big, burnt coffee, chocolate aroma. Sweet, smoky chocolate malt and coffee flavour. A little boozy, but pretty well balanced..... This one you SIP.....and it’s a really nice sipper.
