Bottle from drinkshop.sk. Pours hazy gold with quickly dissappearing white head. Bit of wet rug on nose. And green apples. High carbonation. Low bodied. Bitter sweet. Banana? Really? One off for me.

Bottle from Pivný raj. While on tap it might have been so-so. My bottle was disaster, strong medical aroma. Strong medicine feel on tongue accompanied by harsh bitterness. I was not able to finish a glass.

Yellow golden with sall white head. Live carbonation. Clear grapes in aroma, light malt and hops. Taste, light malt, clear grapes, oderate hops. Dry finish. Alcohol is evident.

Bottle. Malty aroma and taste, hoppy fruity notes, medium bitter. Medium body, malty and hoppy bitter finish. Quite simple, but good.

Eine mir bislang unbekannte Brauerei aus der slowakischen Stadt Žilina, die mir in Erinnerung geblieben ist, da ich dort eine halbe Nacht auf einen Zug warten musste. Man bekommt in der hübschen 0,75l-Flasche ein Brut-IPA, also ein mit Champagner-Hefe gebrautes Bier angelsächsischer Brauart. Es hat einen ordentlichen Rosé-Farbton und auch einige derartige Aromen. Es ist nicht so hopfig-bitter wie ein klassisches IPA, hat aber andere Aromenspiele wie eben Sekt- und Rosé-Noten zu bieten. Malz wird eher hinten angestellt und der Tanz zwischen Hopfen und Hefe bestimmt das Trinkerlebnis. Kein klassisches Bier, aber für den erfahrenen Bierfreund eine Freude.
