(Draught at Ölbaren, Copenhagen, 5 July 2012) Reddish amber colour with creamy, beige head. Just beautiful. Malty, smoky nose with notes of dried fruit, caramel, hints of smoke and tar. Malty, smoky taste with caramel, dried fruit, hints of smoke, Lapsang tea, orange peel and a spicy bitterness in the finish. The smoke character stays quite soft and balanced. More than medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Excellent beer.

On tap at Beer Temple. Slightly hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma of toilet refreshener, citrus, soapy, light floral. Flavour is light sweet, floral, dry, light malty, mostly citrus, hoppy, dry hoppy citrus and light malty bitter finish. Light bodied. Tasty low ABV beer.

On tap at Christian Firtal. Black with a firm and lasting, creamy off-white head. Dark chocolate, toffee and licorice in the nose, with a touch of pine hops. Chocolate and licorice flavour with a salty touch, some pine notes, and a nice and bitter finish.

Tap C4 , Odense. Pours black with a creamy head and lacings. Nose is roast and pine. Salty and ashy roast. Bitter roasted finish with hoppy notes Which just brings bitterness.

Enjoyed on tap at Lillie’s Q in Chicago, IL while eating some BBQ with family. This stuff was just OK in my opinion. Appearance was a dark murky brown with not much head. Aroma of malt, syrup. Taste was a bit buttery, syrupy as well, lightish carbonation, just an average brew in my opinion.

Tap at brewpub. Light smoky horse blanket and fruity aroma. Clear light amber with a small head. Applewood smoke, light orange, oak, and subtle vanilla flavor. A little horse blanket flavor became evident as it warmed. Medium creamy body, light dry finish.

Tap at brewpub. Light white grape and apple aroma and bourbon when it warmed. Golden with a small white head. Sweet malty, earthy fruit, sweet tobacco flavor, and bourbon as it warmed. Medium smooth creamy body.

Tap at brewpub. Faint citrus hops aroma. Deep golden with a small creamy head, great lacing. Light grainy malt flavor, floral grassy grapefruit hops flavor, Medium body. Very easy drinker.
