From tap at Bishops Arms. Pours hazy dark brown to black witha small tan head. Aroma is fruity hoppy, toasted dark malty and light liqourice. Bitter, mild fruity and toasted malty. Bitter and bone dry finish.

On tap at local option. Pours a near clear very dark brown with a brown head that dissipated to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of coffee with backing dark grains, roasted malt and a hint of licorice. Flavor has coffe and roasted malts with a hint of underlying licorice.

Draft at Mikkeller, Copenhagen. Clear dark red beer. Small pale tan head. Light crisp palate. A little malt cream, mild smoke. Not bad. Slipped down easy enough with grabbing too much of my attention.

On tap at local option. Pours a clear amber orange with a clean white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is smokey with a note of bacon and cured meats. Flavor starts with a bread note but is quickly taken over Nya light smoked meat note.

Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, pale malt, moderate hoppy, fruity, blod orange, butter - iron - iodine notes. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, bold orange, caramel malt, fruity, fresh. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120414]
