"Weiße Elster Pilsener", Flasche (50 cl) von Getränkefeinkost Berlin. - Orangegelb, schwach trüb, lockerer üppiger Schaum. - Angenehmer aber schwacher Duft nach tropischen Früchten, Pale-Ale-ähnlich aber ohne obergärige Fruchtigkeit. - Antrunk schlank und mild hopfenherb mit schwacher Zitrusfrucht. Zartes helles Malz mit schwacher seifiger Note. Durchschnittlich rezent, leicht, angenehm trocken. Im Abgang leicht holzige Herbe mit störender Note von ranzigen Nüssen. - An und für sich eine gute Idee, ein Craft-Bier-artig in der Hopfung aufgepepptes Pilsener, aber dieser Versuch ist nicht völlig gelungen; zu störend sind die ranzigen Fehlaromen (auch wenn sie sich im Lauf der Zeit verlieren).

0,5 l bottle from Beer Supreme, Oldenburg. Unclear red golden with an huge frothy white head in the glass. Smells low floral hopy. Taste starts strong hopy, with citrus sequences, present grain. Crisp floral hopy with some grape in the middle section. Less but present hopy to the end.

0,5 l bottle purchased at Beer Supreme Oldenburg. Pale golden with a lot of small visible sediments. Huge white frothy head. Citrus and hop on the nose. Taste starts with fresh hop bitterness, some citrus. Grain in the second row, citrus sweetness in the background. Dry. Long lasting bitterness in the aftertaste. Nearly a Pale Ale.

Bottle from Edeka in Leipzig. Moderate bitter beginning, the beer is dry and round, the bitterness is nice, the body is dry. Hints of floralness in the aftertaste, this is a nice Pils as it has to be - clear body with hints of grain, more than average bitterness, fresh green floral hops in the aftertaste. Nice.

Bottle from Edeka in Leipzig. Smooth grainy and neutral beginning. Floral green hops there, especially the aftertaste is floral and fresh, smooth with a nice and mild floral aftertaste. The body is medium-dry with grainy hints, sessionable though and a nice hop profile in the aftertaste - melon, floral hops, in between smooth grain. Not bad.

bottle, thanks to kapldav123! Golden with atall head. Full-bodied with a good and chewy malty base, lots of citrusy hop flavours, with a touch of grapefurit and gooseberry.
