Bomber labeled "The Contender" from Bine & Vine. Pours gold with a white head. Aroma is citrus for me. Med body or so. Flavor is rather bitingly hoppy - could be a citrus/pine mix. Mild hop burn starting at first quaff. Mild caramel backbone. Reasonably dry and decently bitter. Good stuff.

22oz bottle shared with my son on 21st May 2016. Blonde in colour (surprise, surprise) with a white crown on top. Bland and uninteresting to be honest, some wheat in there somewhere maybe but very little aroma or actual taste. Refreshing in the afternoon sun, but lacking in depth and flavor.

On tap in Churchill Cigar Lounge, San Diego, 7th May 2016. Nice golden hue to the body, off-white head. Citrus hop aroma with a more balanced but still hop forward taste. Refreshing and not too bitter, with the malts keeping the hop content under control, liked it.

On tap at the brewery. It pours a clear golden color with an off white head. The aroma is flowery with a little background notes of citrus. The flavor is the same with flowers and citrus fruit. Clean. Moderate to high bitterness, but it’s smooth. Good stuff.

On tap at the brewery. It pours a golden color with a white head. The aroma is a little citrusy with some lime and yeasty notes of banana. The flavor is spicy and peppery with some orange and grape. Full bodied, but with a good dry finish. Well done for an American made Tripel.

On tap at the brewery. It pours a clear amber color with a khaki head. The aroma has some peanuts with lightly toasted malt. Hints of fruit. The flavor is dry and well attenuated with some peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Yep. Fruity, bready and lots of peanut. Pretty fun stuff, but not something I’d go back to very often.

On tap at the brewery. It pours a super clear pale yellow color with a small white head. The aroma is bright and citrusy with some melon and a little apple. The flavor has grapefruit, citrus and light floral bitterness. Not getting much tropical fruit, but the flavors are nice. Dry pale malt backbone. Light floral bitterness in the finish. Good.

On tap at the brewery. It pours black with a light tan head. The aroma is very roasted with a little caramel and vanilla. The flavor is dry and roasted with a hint of caramel before a smoky, lightly ashy finish. A great classic Irish Stout.
