On tap at the brewery. It pours a clear gold yellow color with a white head. The aroma has some big time banana. The flavor is a little different with some earthy and minty hops up front and banana coming through later. Solid, creamy mouthfeel with perfect carbonation and a floral bitter finish. Good.

On tap at the brewery. It pours a hazy yellow color with a small head. The aroma has some peach and weird melon notes. The flavor is ok with low to medium tartness. Appropriate levels for the style. Some cantaloupe, peach and watermelon. A little watery on the palate. Refreshing, but a bit boring. Nothing hugely off.

Bomber from Bine & Vine. Pours deep dark brown with a creamy dark tan head. Aroma of bourbon and chocolate, with dark treacle. Full bodied or nearly. The bourbon and alcohol knocked my socks off, and the chocolate treacle with oak astringency (despite lots of treacle) is really tasty. Somehow the bourbon and oak are acting like hop to keep the sugar under control. This is lovely stuff.

Tap at Bud. Orange-brown, glowing, with a fine head. Nose of caramel, orange, earthy hops. Caramel, toffee, flavor, orange and grapefruit, decent fruitiness and spicy hops. Earthy. Decent enough.

Bomber. Somewhat dank nose, grapefruit, juicy fruity. Glowing cloudy orange color. Big fruit flavors, very juicy hops, dry, dank, zesty, peaches, grape, something wine like as well. Nelson I guess. Light, crisp, bitter finish. Good.

Draft at Belmont Station. Oily copper pour with a fading fizz head. Tropical fruit heavy hop aroma. Flavor is a heavy earthy hop up front. Thick body, soft citrus. Late palate of mango, and pineapple. Some pine. Pretty good.

Tap at watering hole. Hazy golden color with a pillowy white head. Cinnamon, nutmeg coriander and burned yeast with some banana cream pie in the nose. Heavy body with average carbonation. Intense yeast / spice burn on the palate. Barely drinkable. Yeast finish with lots of caramel syrup. Bottle from Uptown. Pours a clear orange color with a small white head. A big fresh fruity nose. Marmalade, tea, caramel, a sort of soft fruity core, little bitterness. Really spot on for a British IPA rather than a west coast one. Mild, malty, soft. A sort of harsh higher alcohol finish which is quite slight. Solid.

On draft at Tap 25. It pours a clear pale orange/gold color with a small white head. The aroma is grainy, bready with some sweet peach and pineapple fruit esters. Hints of flowery hops. The flavor is full with pale maltiness. A bit syrupy in the mouth for the style with mild fruity esters and hints of flowers and grains. Not really crisp enough, especially in the finish but no off flavors. Ok.

On draft at Tap 25. It pours yellow gold with a small creamy white head. The aroma is bready with a hint of caramel/toffee and some melon and mango hop notes. The flavor is toffee sweet with some citrusy grapefruit and strong citrus peel-like bitterness. I’m not a fan of the toffee flavors and heavy bitterness, but otherwise this is a clean beer.l
