Honestly this does not taste fresh hop. It tastes like it was brewed in March for drinking in October, like a classic Festbier. Malt forward aroma and taste. Needs an oompah band for accompanience.

amber golden white milkshake. Frothy white head. Lovely nose of white and orange gummy bears with some Yuzu. Very smooth mouth, low bitterness but Yuzu give some interesting background character. Lovely.

sweet unbalanced, uninteresting bad mouth feel. This is the type of beer that gives Ne IPAs a bad name. Pass

On tap at Belmont Station Bier Cafe, pours a hazy bright reddish pink with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out bright, tart and sweet marionberries, a little black currant, and a touch of farmhouse notes. Flavour is bone dry, with lots of oak, tart and juicy marionberries, and lightly funky. Dry and oaky. Nicely done.

On tap at Culmination, pours a hazy golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma is fairly abrasive, with citrus hops, biscuity malt and light biscuity malt. Flavour is wonderfully well-balanced, with lots of creamy piney and resinous hops. Citrusy and resinous, with a slight sweetness to balance. This is excellent.

2015 vintage. On tap at Culmination, pours a deep dark mahogany with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out caramel malts, some dark red fruits and some brown sugar. Flavour is unusual for a barley wine, with tart red fruits, bready malt, caramel and light toffee. Lightly tart and malty. Solid.

On tap at Culmination, pours an opaque bright yellow with a small white head. Nose is very yeasty, with dank hops, milky chalky notes, and more yeast. Flavour is along the same lines, with dank hops, lots of pithy stone fruits and tons of chalky yeast. Too yeasty and chalky, but I've had worse. Decent.

On tap at Culmination, pours an opaque cloudy peachy orange with a small white head. Aroma is quite yeasty, with dank hops, lots of chalky yeast, and biscuity malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with way too much chalky and yeasty notes, with some citrus hops. Way too yeasty and chalky. Exactly what I don't like in this style.

On tap at Culmination, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out weird spices, with tart citrus and lacto. Flavour is along the same lines, with some spices, and citrus. Juicy and spicy. This doesn't work too well.

On tap at Culmination, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out fresh yuzu, with light spiciness. Flavour is fresh and citrusy, with bright citrus, and light spicy coriander. Citrusy and spicy. Decent.
