Sample at Thirsty Monk. Clear dark orange-gold color with a thin white head that diminishes quickly to a wispy film. Small sticky patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of fruit, hops and yeast. Medium body with flavors of citrusy hops, yeast and roast malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a fruity hops aftertaste. Above average overall.

Sample at Thirsty Monk. The beer is a slightly hazy golden color with a thin white head that recedes steadily to a wispy film. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of fruit, hops and coconut. Medium body with flavors of toasted coconut, fruity hops and malt. The finish is mildly hoppy with a lingering coconut aftertaste. Interesting and above average beer all around.

Sample at Thirsty Monk. Brownish-black color with a medium foamy tan head that diminishes gradually. Patchy lacing on the glass. Aroma of roast malt, yeast and chocolate. Medium-bodied with flavors of roasted malt, earthy yeast and chocolate. The finish is malty with a subtle yeast aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at Thirsty Monk. Dark brown color with a medium foamy beige head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing. Aroma of malt, chocolate and coconut. Medium body with flavors of roast malt, coconut and mild chocolate. The finish is toasted coconut and malt. Pretty good overall.

Brewvival 2015 Trip #44. Keg at the Biltmore Park location. Pours a clear copper with a medium tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of stone fruits, spice, nuts, bready malt. The taste is bread, stone fruits, yeast, spice. Medium bodied.

Aroma of peanuts, vegetal notes, dark fruit, chocolate, roasted malt. The taste is chocolate, peanut butter, roasted malts, hints of dark fruit and salt. Medium bodied, smooth.

Brewvival 2015 Trip #41. Keg at the Biltmore Village location. Pours a hazy orange with a thin creamy white head. Fair head retention. Aroma of bready malt, phenolic spice, candi sugar. The taste is candi sugar, bready malt, noble hops, caramel, yeast. Medium bodied, lingering yeastiness.

Brewvival 2015 Trip #39. Keg at the Biltmore Park location. Pours a clear pale pink with a thin creamy white head. Good head retention. Aroma of cranberry, doughy malts, hints of salt. The taste is doughy malt, salt, tart cranberry finish. Medium bodied, mild lingering tartness.
