Review from notes, Sample at The Microbrew Invitational 6/3/2017 Dark gold color thin off white head. Huge sweet brown sugary toffee with big oak barrel note. Sweet sipper for sure.

Bottle thanks to Adam. Pours a cloudy yellow gold with small white head that lasts. The aroma is yeast, spice, funk, earth. Medium body, honey, yeast, floral, earth, lemon zest, light finish, very good.

Bottle thanks to Seth. Pours a cloudy yellow gold with medium frothy white head that lasts. The aroma is strong spelt, earth, floral, lemon zest. Medium body, yeast, earth, lemon, funky, dry finish, very good.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy copper with medium off white head that lasts. The aroma is oak, grape, funk. Thin body, leather, oak, nice tartness, light acidity, very good.

Bottle. Pours a very dark brown with small beige head. The aroma is roasted malt, vanilla, chocolate, wood, bourbon. Thick, chewy, roast, dark chooclate, wood, vanilla bean, boozy finish, very good.

Growler thanks to Seth. Pours a cloudy yellow with medium white head that lasts. The aroma is melon, grass, citrus. Medium body, juicy hop, melon, pine, light bitterness, very good.

750 ml bottle. Pours a clear golden almost orange color with a large white head. A big bready fruity barrel nose. A big sweet flavor, sugary marmalade, pepper, a bit of heat, sort of apricot and sawdust. A slight sour pineapple element. Pretty good beer.

Bottle thanks to Dan. Pours a clear mahogany color with a small beige head. A big nose, really smells like bourbon, some oak, molasses. Hot, lots of sweet flavors, sharp sweet malts,, molasses, rum, man this is super barrel hot but seems to have only been aged in oak barrels. Raisins, some dark fruit. Pretty nice, oddly hot and a bit harsh.

750 ml bottle thanks to Dan. Pours a cloudy orange color with a very large frothy white head. A big yeasty dusty and citrus nose. Fresh citrus, toast, dry earthy base. Quite clean. Peppery. Good beer.

Bottle thanks to Dan. Pours a clear (mostly) yellow color with a medium to small white head. A nice earthy husky grain nose with lemons. Very nice citrus, yeasty, grains, some wheat, light mango. Very flavorful despite being near the Utah point (4%). Lovely beer.
