Sampled on draft at Hou Thou this beer poured a black color with a trace soapy tan head that faded quickly and left no lacing. The aroma was brewed coffee, vanilla and gingerbread. The flavor was slightly sour brewed coffee, vanilla and gingerbread. Long finish. Medium body but a bit flat. Meh.

Sampled on draft at D’s this beer poured a hazy apricot color with a medium sized fluffy white head that lingered and left great lacing. The aroma was tart and tangy citrus and pine. The flavor was tart and tangy citrus, pine, sweet malts and a moderate bitterness. Medium length finish. Moderately full bodied. Pretty tasty.

Sampled from a growler this beer poured a hazy yellow-gold color with a large foamy yellow-white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was dusty and musty with cinnamon and cardamom. The flavor was dry, dusty and musty bread, cinnamon and cardamom. Long cinnamon, cardamom and bread finish. Ok.
