Description
Old 690 Brewing Company is one of the first limited breweries to open in the state of Virginia. Our mission is to brew and serve a unique yet balanced variety of fresh craft beers including several seasonal ales that utilize crops grown on the 10 acre property. Come out to beautiful Loudoun County to see our hops and enjoy our unique tasting room Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays where we serve tasting flights, pints and growlers to go. We have food trucks on Saturdays and our own kitchen, but feel free to bring your own food. We are also family, kid and dog friendly.

Draft at the brewery. Poured a pitch black color with a small foamy light tan head. Aroma was roasted malts, not a lot of coffee or chocolate. Light chocolate flavor, pretty roasted. Tasty.

Pint pour at the brewery. Poured a pitch black color with a small off-white head. Aroma was milk chocolate, some light vanilla notes. Flavor was roasted malts, milk chocolate characteristics. Pretty easy to drink. Tasty.

Keg at the VA Craft Brewers Festival. Hazy orange, thin tan head, fair retention. Aroma of pumpkin spice, pumpkin, mild toasted malt. The taste is pumpkin, vanilla, spice, toasted malt. Medium bodied, low carbonation.

Keg at the VA Craft Brewers Festival. Murky orange, large foamy white head, decent retention. Aroma of pale biscuit malt, citrus. The taste is citrus, tropical hops, pale malt. Medium bodied, crisp, refreshing.

Draft at Old 690. Poured a light hazy golden orange color with a small white head. Aroma was light saison notes, Belgian Pale, light malt. Okay, but a touch one dimensional. Might try this one again when I return.

Draft pour at Old 690. Pours a hazy pale yellow color with a small white head. Aroma was cloves, light Belgian spice notes, wheat. Pretty easy drinking - light hops, some herbal notes. interesting enough!

Draft at Old 690. Poured a small light yellow color with a small white head. Nice light fruit notes, but lacking some serious hefe notes, light banana, some clove. Okay.
