Description
Since Arrogant Bastard Ale was first unleashed upon the unsuspecting public in 1997, the brand has been braving bold territory and upsetting dandies, milquetoasts and fizzy yellow beer drinkers in great numbers. Massively successful, and ever full of vip and vinegar, Arrogant Bastard Ale split off from the restrictive confines of Stone Brewing in 2015. And now, the brethren of Liquid Arrogance is free to explore, cavort and roam how they damn well see fit. For those Worthy few that wish to gaze upon the musings of Arrogant Bastard Ale, Double Bastard Ale, Bourbon Barrel-Aged Arrogant Bastard or other Bastard beers, follow along via Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Arrogantbastard.com.

Drank from the 16 oz. can at Brooklyn Bowl, Las Vegas, NV. Very hoppy aroma. This is the hoppiest, most bitter pilsner I've ever had. Should be an IPA.

Thanks to AleRider78 for a can of this one. Pours a very lightly unfiltered golden colour with a big frothy white head, good retention and thick foamy patches of lacing. The nose shows a big spiciness from the Saaz hops with other grassy notes over the mild Pilsner malts. Flavours give out the same, with a big spicy Pils character. Still, easy to drink, crisp enough, refreshing. An American Pilsner that is quite good.

500ml can from Vinmonopolet Langnes. Shared with Alf. Some big patches on the surface of a hazed late straw coloured body, lacing rings down the glassware. Promising aroma of pale malts and citrus. Blended taste of grass, citrus and grainy malts. Bittersweet endnotes. Okay beer, great band. (At Alf's place in Tromsø 14.12.2019).
