Bottle from Systembolaget. Well well well. This is one hell of a punch of a beer - no wonder it comes with warnings. Hop and booze on the aroma. Mahogany colour. Taste is like a weird mix of double IPA and English strong ale. I'm not sure about it to be honest but it sure makes you feel good cus of booze.

Brun med rødskjær og offwhite skum som daler fort. Aroma malt karamell urter mørke frukter. Smak malt urter karamell kaffe sjokolade. Fyldig og smakfull med god balanse. Delt med Synny på Brewyard

Klar mørk amber med lav, kort lys beige topp som forsvinner raskt og legger seg rundt kanten. Aroma; malt, plomme, nøtter, nytraktet kaffe, karamell. Smak; Kaffe, karamell, malt, nøttemix, karamell, honning Balansert, smaken kommer smygende og blir sterkere utover i ettersmaken. Delt med Leif.

Dyprød. Klar. Filmskum med litt farge. Spotlacing. Aroma av karamell & nøtter. Smaken rosiner & knekk. Heftig tørr fruktig bitter avslutning.

Can from Systembolaget. First week of 2024 (since NYE). Deep, malty, mascerated grapes nose. Murky mahogany look. Taste is booze, prominent west coast hops soaked in porter. It's very mature.

Saturday night bottle share. Bottle from Rich. Big rich wooden notes abound, smoky, caramel, stinging palate. Nice way to age the already stellar Double Bastard. Sip, savor and enjoy.

Semmi hab, vörösesbarna szín. Karamelles, fűszeres, vaníliás illat. Karamelles, fűszeres ízek, némi vaníliával. Érezni a rozst is, de hiányzik a savanykássága. Jelen van némi konyakosság, bár az alkohol nagyon jól elrejtőzött. Testes, alig szénsavas, erősen keserű. Jól összesrakott, intenzív ízvilágú sör.

Bottled (from Alko web). Slightly hazy deep amber colour, not much head. Aroma is dried fruits, some berries, alcohol, plum and some spices. Flavour is quite strong on the alcohol, but nicely balanced with wood, vanilla, spices, plum and some mild sweetish berries to it. Delicate. Wood gets more evident as the beer goes warmer.
