Mein erstes Imperial Ref Ale, oder zumindest eines, das sich als dieses definiert und erkennbar ist. Es ist wirklich aggressiv und es ist schwer zu trinken, da es verdammt bitter ist und man absichtlich keine Harmonie reinbringen will. Es hat aber gute Aromen nach Harz und Bitterhopfen. Mit ist es zu brutal, aber ich kann mir denken, dass es seine Anhänger finden wird.

19.2oz can from Luekens Wine & Spirits, Seminole. Dark red, clear with a large loose beige head and considerable lacing. Light notes of pine resin, some berries, amber malt. Bittersweet taste, nicely malt-led with intense bittering hops mid-sip. Notes of strawberry. Quite bitter in the finish. Full, oily body, medium carbonation. Hate the name and the marketing but love the actual beer.

47 cl. can @ the appartment in Kalenberg, bought @ Plus Culemborg. Drank from the can but the beer has an off-white head and a clear copper red body. Wonderfull malty and citrus aroma. Very bitter taste and finish. Really great beer, it ticks all the boxes I care about.

Draught (As Stone Berlin Enter Night)@Uba ja Humal, Tallinn. Yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, wooden, floral and some herbal notes with mild grass too. Flavour is grassy, floral, herbal, quite bitter with some earthy and mild bready notes.
