In 2015 the company began development of a new, state-of-the-art 40,000 sq. ft. production facility in Nampa, Idaho. Featuring a 40 bbl multi-vessel brewhouse, and the capacity to produce over 100K bbls/yr, “Mother Earth – Nampa” went on-line in August of 2016 and through continuous upgrades and expansion rapidly became the largest brewery in the state of Idaho. As Mother Earth's second regional headquarters, Nampa supports most of the company's growth and produces beer for all markets outside Southern California. The original Vista brewery continues to provide draft and specialty offerings to its home market of Socal as well as creating unique one-off brews for visitors at its retail operations in North County San Diego. Mother Earth remains family owned and operated and has become a standard of success within the industry.

On tap. Pours with a clear deep brown hued body with a small tan head. Aromas are of mild coffee, chocolate, fudge and earth. Roast is mild. No hop aroma, and pretty clean yeast wise. Flavors are dry, soil, earthy, roasted coffee, medium leathery notes, nutty, bready and clean yeast wise. Medium bubbles, bitter finish, medium bodied.

On tap at the source. Pours with a clear orange hue with a lasting white head that leaves good lace. Aromas are of tea, citrus, grapefruit, caramel and mild spice. Flavors show some citrusy hops, medium bready and grainy with a light spicy and mild sweetness. Tasty, but seems to showcase the malt over the hops (possibly the intent?). Medium to medium high carbonation. Somewhat dry. Good.

On tap at the source. Pours with a hazed bronze body and a tan head. Aromas are bready, nutty, brown sugar and grainy. Light earthy hop notes. Pretty clean yeast wise for a mild. Flavors show a light roast/coffee note, nutty, bready, dry and grainy. Lots of cereal flavors. Pretty good. Lively carbonation for the style. Medium-low bodied. Pretty good.

On tap at the source. Pours with a lightly hazed orange hue with a small, off-white head. Aromas are pretty great; nelson hops. Some perceived sweetness from the tropical fruit notes, light dank and pungent, medium citrus. Some dextrin malt character. Flavors are of citrus, papaya, passion fruit, medium alcohol, light citrus. Medium dry (could possibly be a touch drier). Lively, somewhat dry, warming. Great stuff.

On tap at PP SC. Hazed amber orange pour with a lasting white head. Aroma of citrus, orange, caramel and raisins. Flavors are a bit too malty for my taste. Alcohol, orange, grainy, caramel. Bitter. Okay. Medium bubbles. Not super dry.
