Tallboy can purchased at the brewery with 8.2% alcohol printed on can. Total pitch black color within lasting had in a snifter. Aroma is mild pine, chocolate, and mild charred grain.

The body is medium with mild roast/ char backbone. Bitterness in the form of pine but in a very subtle way. This Black IPA / CDA is very approachable. Not over the top or overdone in any aspect.

16 oz. can purchased at the brewery. Hazy amber / orange color, thin white head with light lacing in a snifter. The aroma is a ton of juicy citrus, lots of squeezed oranges.

Flavor reflects the large citrus charater with a citrus peel bitterness. Bitterness is assertive and lingers well after the sip. I will have no problem finishing the other cans from this four pack.

Sampled from a 16 oz can this beer poured a hazy copper color with a huge soapy yellow-white head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was coffee, cocoa, a bit of maltiness and faint vague fruits. The flavor was bitter with coffee, cocoa, vanilla, honey, faint vague fruits and moderate astringency. Medium length finish. Medium body. Disappointing.
