16 ounce can. Hazy Amber color. Small creamy beige head. Sweet toasted malt nose with a hint of citrus hops. Tangy bittersweet malty flavor upfront. Some peppery bitterness as well. Decent.

At the source: cask: pours black with a brownish head. Aroma is chocolate and floral and fruity hops. Taste is very mellow and warming without being aggressive soft but complex in its own right.

At the source: pours copper with a white head. Aroma is light citrus, fruit, and some yeast. It is basically a kind of bitter ale with some apice and some bit going into it. Not too Belgian if you know what i mean.

At the source: pours blonde with a white head. Aroma is grassy and bready. Taste is somewhat bitter with a nice hoppy aftertaste. Simple but gets the job done.

LSAT Freedom Trip #171. Keg at the brewpub. Clear amber, large creamy off-white head, good retention. Aroma of strong, fresh grapefruit, juicy pineapple, pale malt. The taste is pineapple, fresh grapefruit, pale malt, hints of cherry. Medium bodied, strong lingering bitterness, well balanced. Interesting and a bit different. I loved this.
