Description
If there were no such place as Happy Valley, we would need to invent one.
Because, in addition to being a Real Place, Happy Valley is also a State of Mind.
The Happy Valley we all know and love rests in the sheltering shade of
Mount Nittany as it rises majestically to meet the blue and white sky.
But in a larger sense, Happy Valley is Any Place we gather to remember the
old times and celebrate the good times with our friends and families.
We invite you to revisit your own personal Happy Valley by drinking this beer,
lovingly hand-crafted for your enjoyment by Head Brewer, Josh Davies.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a very dark brown color with a large foamy beige head that left great lacing. The aroma was wood, nut, fig and had a medicinal almost band aid presence. The flavor was dryish with fig, nut, an herbal presence, spruce and again a medicinal band aid note. Long finish of spice, fig and medicine. Moderately full bodied. Very odd.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a dark amber color with a large foamy white head that faded quickly but left incredible lacing. The aroma was bitter and tangy with pine and vague fruity hops. The flavor was tangy and bitter but with a sweetness underneath and notes of table sugar, orange, pine, lemon, apricot, pepper and cracker. Long sweet sugar, pine, orange and apricot finish. Thick and syrupy body. Interesting.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a black color with brown highlights and an enormous fluffy-creamy orange-tan head that lingered forever and left incredible lacing. The aroma was very bitter, dry and roasty with a burnt coffee presence. The flavor was dry, roasty and woody with burnt coffee and a hint of cream. Medium length dry finish of roast and wood. Medium body. Hits the marks for a dry stout but not really my style.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a medium amber color with a medium sized creamy white head that left great lacing. The aroma was bitter, tangy and vaguely fruity with a bit of piney and floral hops. The flavor was strong bitter grapefruit and lemon with a dry middle followed by perfume and seemed thin. Long hoppy finish. Thin body. Meh.
