Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a vibrant dark golden color with a large foamy white head that lingered and left excellent lacing. The aroma was tart and almost skunky with a but of must and herb. The flavor was tart and bitter with skunk, must and perfume. Long finish. Medium body. Not good.

Sample from cask at the 13th annual Smokehouse Mini Real Ale Fest on 05/14/2016. The beer is a dark mahogany color with a medium thin light beige head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Small patches of lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of dark malts, fruit and hops. Full-bodied with flavors of roast malt, dark fruit and earthy hops. The finish is sweet with a malty and fruity aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

Sample at the tap room during the 3rd Anniversary Party on 04/20/2016. Brown-black color with a medium tan head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing. Malt, coriander and coffee in the nose. Medium body with flavors of herbal tea, malt and earthy hops. The finish is coriander and malt. Decent overall.

On draught at the tap room during the 3rd Anniversary Party on 04/20/2016. Clear reddish-amber color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily to a film. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of oak, fruit and malt. Medium to full body with flavors of oak, fruity gin, caramel malt and earthy hops. The finish is fruity and oaky with a malty aftertaste. Good beer all around.

Sticky sparse strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, vanilla and malt. Medium body with flavors of citrusy hops, vanilla and caramel malt. The finish is sweet and fruity with a vanilla aftertaste. Kind of all over the place, but decent overall.

Aroma of dark fruit, yeast and malt. Full-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, dark fruit, yeast and spice. The finish is sweet with a malty and fruity aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

Aroma of fruit, yeast, spice and malt. Medium body with flavors of fruity yeast, cloves and malt. The finish is fruity and spicy with an herbal yeast aftertaste. Above average overall.

This brew pours a clear amber-orange color with a medium thick off-white head that recedes steadily to a wispy film. Stringy lacing. Aroma of citrus, funky yeast and hops. Medium-bodied with flavors of pithy lemon, funky brett, hops and malt. The finish is fruity with a lemony hops aftertaste. Above average overall.
