Very dark. Smells a little volatile. Must be on nitro or cask, no co2 at all. Smooth, mouth coating and flat. Not bad. This is more like a plain porter, very difficult to find any smoke in this. As a result, this is probably one of the better smoked beers Iβve tasted lately. Yes, a well behaved smoked beer that never gets in yer face.

Dark brown iced tea color. Clean fresh beer smell. Taste is as mild as the abv indicates, well behaved and civilized mild irish ale. Well done and nicely balanced, could drink a few of these babies.

Cloudy pale. Slight BO aroma, probably from the hops. Taste is quite hoppy, unexpectedly so. Borders op IPA territory in the flavor domain. Very faint, almost undetectable, pineapples. Bitter near IPA finish.

Clear iced tea color. Good initial co2. Decent by brown ale standards. Mild and easy drinken, hides its alky content well. Civilized and well behaved to the end, quite nice brown ale in a time when contemporary brown ales vary from the style and are rather rude.

Initial leather taste. Hides the higher alky content well, youβd never know this was over 5%. Not bad for a brown ale. Initially starts off with some medicinal personality but that clears up in the end. Good example of a well made dark beer experience. Reminded me a bit af better made american dark lagers in personality.

Cloudy pale with a slight yeasty aroma. First impression is its a milder beer. Easy drinken. Truly is a blonde in a beer world where blondes are not really blond. Not bad, comes across as civilized and fun. Could drink a sixer of these. Slight bitterness on the finish along with a yeasty background.
