Bottle in Vail, courtesy of jcnielsen. Thanks Jetson! Pours a dark red orange appearance with an off white head. Herbal, spicy nutmeg, allspice, yam, chewy caramel, interesting aroma. Quite spicy, herbal, a bit chewy woody, slightly nutty, toffee, dull vanilla. Kind of all over the place and everything kind of blends together.

Pour is a dark orange with a white head. Aroma is a nice spice of nutmeg and cinnamon. FLavor is where the vanilla really comes out at first. After the vanilla some more of the spice shows up. Finish is sweet and a little herbal. It’s a soild beer and something different then the usual pumpkin beers.

Pour is a dark brown with a nice tan head. Aroma is a nice roated malt, some chocolate and nutty. Flavor is a nice roasted but sweet malt. Some chocolate and fresh earthy hops make an appearance. A nice brown ale with the oatmeal making this above par.

Pour is a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is very lemony with lots of herbs showing up. Flavor is again a little lemon juice with some big basil and ginger notes. None of the flavors really over powers but I think that’s ok b’c if they were more pronounced it would take away anything else the beer was trying to offer. Deffinatly unique. Like taking a drink of a fresh herb garden.

Tap at Hangar 9. Pours a clear dark brown with about a finger of off-white head. Aroma of burnt malt, coffee, caramel and some dark chocolate. Taste is about the same. Roasty malt, coffee, burnt sugar and some chocolate. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. Overall, this is one great beer.

Bomber from Wine & Cheese in Clayton, MO. Pours hazy gold with a creamy white head. Aroma is moderately earthy and peppery. Hint of citrus. Med body. Flavor is peppery, earthy, and has a bit of zest that pops up mostly in the finish. Struggling to find pear, but the other flavors are so zingy I’m not sure I’ve got it. This is a really tasty beer, and seems pretty much to style.

Pour is a hazy gold with a average white head. Aroma is citrus fruit with some pepper and banyard yeasty funk. Flavor is a very bitter citrus fruit with more of the funk and pepper. Could use a bit more of that funkyness but this is a very easy drinking saison with a citrus fruit hiding in the backround.

On tap at the brewery over X-Mas. Pours a hazy gold with great, full white head. Lots of grain on both aroma and flavor. Some slight chalk on the finish.

On tap at the brewery over X-Mas. Pours a reddish-orange with slight brown tint and an off-white head. Sweet candy-like aroma leaves me thinking this may finish high and cloying. Lots of sweet flavor, with nice citrus from the C-hops. Soft bitter finish. Did not get much of the rye on this and did not think the hops and malts balanced perfectly for the style, but still tasty.
