Tap @ Pi STL. Pours a hazy orange appearance with a light brown head. Resiny, mild ganja, somewhat piney, grapefruity, herbal aroma. Soft but assertive resiny, ganja, piney hoppy, mild citrusy, spicy, toasted malty flavor. Super easy drinker. Nice stuff.

Pour is a nearly black with a small tan head. Aroma is a nice mix of chocolate/coffee and char roasted malt. Flavor is bitter chocolate with a minor creamyness. After the swallow I pick up some roast and leaves a nice bitter dark chocolate on the tounge. Deffinatly not a sweet stout as this is all kinds of bitter but this is still decent as the cocoa nibs used really bring out a nice chocolate flavor.

Pour is a cloudy orange with a large white head. Aroma is as advertised. A nice spicy rye with a dank pine hop. Flavor is much of the same. A hearty rye followed by hops. FInish leaves some of the rye on the tounge after the swallow. A decent rye IPA.

Pour is a hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma is some pale malt and not much else. Flavor is malty, a little tangy and then not much else. This was not real good. Kinda light and thin all around.

Bottle @ home, courtesy of jcnielsen. Thanks Justin! Pours a hazy yellow appearance with a white head. Big white peppery, zesty citrusy, dry straw/herbal aroma. Somewhat juicy, white peppery, grainy/grassy, straw, a bit tangy flavor with a dry, peppery finish. Overall, not bad.

Barcade, Philadelphia tap ($6) Pours hazy gold with a white head. Aroma is fruity, with farmhouse funk and a light bit of spicing. Taste is a little bit sweet and a tad dry. Fruit flavors come out well. Not too hoppy. Nice body and easily drinkable. This is a somewhat run of the mill saison, but it was good nonetheless.

12 oz tulip at Martin City Brewing Company in Martin City, Missouri. The pour is a lightly hazed orange golden with a well formed one inch white head. Pretty in the glass. The aroma is primarily the clove and earthy yeast, along with straw and grass. The taste follows the nose, primarily the yeast clove notes, layered on top of a grassy straw body. There is a hint of sweetness, though it is decently managed. Pepper notes come out a bit as the beer warmed. The palate is medium bodied, slightly below average carbonation, and clove in the finish. Decent, straight forward, Saison.

Bottle in Vail, courtesy of jcnielsen. Thanks Jetson! Pours a dark red orange appearance with an off white head. Herbal, spicy nutmeg, allspice, yam, chewy caramel, interesting aroma. Quite spicy, herbal, a bit chewy woody, slightly nutty, toffee, dull vanilla. Kind of all over the place and everything kind of blends together.

Pour is a dark orange with a white head. Aroma is a nice spice of nutmeg and cinnamon. FLavor is where the vanilla really comes out at first. After the vanilla some more of the spice shows up. Finish is sweet and a little herbal. It’s a soild beer and something different then the usual pumpkin beers.
