On tap at the McCall brewery. TOP black, no head spotty lacing. Sweet dark roast malts. A little lactose maybe but nicely balanced and appropriately hopped. Fairly dry for a sweet/milk stout. Very tasty

Bottle at Ratebeer Awards. Pours a hazy copper with small off white head that lasts. The aroma is floral, spruce, citrus. Medium body, grass, spruce, earth, spice finish, good.

Bottle @ RateBeer Best 2017 Bottle Share. Pours an amber color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty grassy hoppy aroma. Fruity malty spicy hoppy caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty spicy hoppy caramel finish.

[1/29/17] Bottle/Can/Crowler/Growler at the RateBeer award ceremony bottle share at Flamingo Hotel in Santa Rosa. Hazy orange. Spices, caramel, malt, sweet.

22oz bottle thanks to Steveoj. Pours out crisp copper topped with a sand head. Nose is spice spice herbal notes mint and some rosemary. Taste is more of the nice herbal spruce rosemary and a nice end.

Bottle from brewery. Bright golden pour, small bubbly head. Obey aroma, slightly minty, this pretty much rules the whole experience, although I don’t think it’s as pronounced as others have said.

On tap slightly hazy light Amber thin fine light tan head slightly toasted pale malts and a subtle pithy hop character. Plain and pleasant but missing some up front hop flavor for the style

On tap at bier:thirty dark brown black full lasting dense beige head classic dry sharp roasted malt flavors. A little chocolate and campfire roast. Clean bodied and smooth. Small bitter trailer.

On tap at bier thirty. pours out black with a little ruby highlights topped with a creamy tan head. Nose is nice roast coffee milk chocolate a nutty note. Taste is pretty good and nice coffee forward plenty roast malts and a nice milk chocolate sweetness.
