(Bottle 50 cl) The back label credits this to "Nya Munkbo Ångbryggeri". Beautiful deep amber colour, clear with almost no head. Dry, slightly tart with distinct notes of honey - more in aroma than in flavour. Technically this is more beer than mead. 230402

(Bottle 50 cl) Dark caramel colour with a weak reddish glow and almost no head. Malty, lightly burned with notes of caramel and a distinct bitterness. The alcohol and the sugars are present indeed, but they’re pleasantly subdued making this surprisingly drinkable. 050402

(Bottle 50 cl) Brown, filtered beer with a reddish tint and a smallish head. Full-bodied, malty and rather sweet beer with some marvelous Christmas spices: cinnamon, cloves and - most distinctly - cardamom, which you sense right from the beginning. Very unique beer, but hard to finish. The spices are a bit...much. 140302

(Can 50 cl) Dark golden with a thin head and a rather high carbonation. Full-bodied and very potent with loads of alcohol without being exactly unpleasant. Very malty feel. Not bad really. 270202

Canned. Pale golden, average head. Light citric nose, then nothing. Sweet and light bodied, but not really thin. No bitterness. Free from the garbage and vegetable flavour so common among Swedish supermarket lagers.

(Bottle 33 cl) Dark brown beer with a small head. Malty, lightly burned caramel character with a discreet sweetness and a balancing bitterness. A very harmonious Christmas beer. 170202

(Can 33 cl) Golden with a fine head. Lovely floral, hoppy aroma. Very malty base with some sweetness. Not the fullest body you can imagine, but overall a decent drink. 240102

Canned. Golden colour, fluffy head. Vague aroma of citric acid. Distinclty watery, but surprisingly clean. This being nothing but a brand name probably being shuffeld around between brewers I am surprised by the beer being so clean. The complete in-offensiveness is on the other the the one and only positive aspect of this beer. The negative aspects being that it lacks everything that I want in a beer... An empty nose is followed by a non-existant body and a finish containing nothing.

Canned. Near black, briegfbeige head. Metallic nose. Some chocolate and licorice. Light bodied. Really roasty. Simplistic, but surprisingly it’s better than the full strength version - being softer, more chocolatey and less appley.

(Can 50 Comes as "Falcon Millennium Stark" at 7,3% ABV. Beautiful fully golden with a decent head. Marked sweetness - I guess brewing syrup is added - but pretty much balanced by some bitter hops. Decent strong lager. 220102
