Autenrieder Leonhardi-Bock, Flasche von Hopfen & Malz im Wedding. - Kastanienbraun, leicht trüb. - In der Nase tiefes, würzig dunkles Malz, weinartig, mit aromatisch ätherisch-herbalem Hopfen. - Antrunk satt und tief dunkelmalzig mit runder Karamelsüße und Anklängen an Toast und Honig. Weiche, reife Frucht; milde aber elegante kräuterige Hopfenherbe. Milder rezent, vollmundig, weich; sanft wärmender Alkohol. Im Abgang feine Malzbittere und dezente Herbe. - Reicher, süffiger Doppelbock von gediegener Malzigkeit, elegant gehopft (mit 100 % Doldenhopfen - wo gibt es das noch?); traditionell gebraut und ohne modische Allüren aber doch individuell und in jeder Hinsicht erstklassig. Bottle courtesy of Jonas cheers Jonas!, consumed at home Attenkirchen, Thursday 7th October 2019, listening to Steve Lamaqs Round Table on 6Music, whilst Loz is cooking Meatballs with Broccoli and Penne. Light hazy with a large clean, frothy white head. Soft mouthfeel, a little tiny bit watery but then this is on the back of a 7+% beer. Light fruity, this is a nice, easy drinking wheat beer.

Bottle from Beer Gonzo, Earlsdon, Coventry, 'Webshop'. Consumed at home Attenkirchen Thursday 31st October 2019 cooking 'Mushy Pea Fish Pie', listening to Steve Lamaq's Round Table. Pours mid amber with a white head. There is a little sourness amongst the banana and light yeasty notes, okay it's certainly infected but only ever so slightly, however Loz picked it up on the nose (along with banana) . Does this put me off? No not at all, in fact I rather like this, it's like a Weizen Bock with a dash of lambic. Soft carbonation but with a tingling tart bitey it's an interesting beer.

Bottle courtesy of Jonas cheers Jonas! Had this at home Attenkirchen Wednesday 30th October 2019 whilst listening to Warmduscher live in Session on 6Music having just eaten a fabulous Three Cheese Spaghetti Pie. Soft carbonation, light toffee, some molasses, it's fine, not amazing but it's fine.

Bottle courtesy of Jonas, cheers Jonas! Consumed at home Attenkirchen, Tuesday 29th October 2019, now cooking Chilli con Carne and listening to Steve Lamaq's Evening Session on 6Music. Pours light gold with a white head. Not as interesting as the previous Helles, soft but somewhat unexciting, hoppiness is muted, sweetness runs on, some grain, it's ok.

Bottle. dark brown color. Malt, chocolate and hints of roast in the aroma. Bready sweet flavor with porto. Chocolate and caramel. Some soft roasty notes. Nice one!
