About
Founded in 1650 by Heinrich de Lapière, the Autenried Schlossbrauerei (castle brewery) was owned by the nobility until 1912. The family tradition begins in 1912 when Alois Rudolph bought the brewery. In 1964 Alois Rudolph handed over the business to his nephew Leonhard Feuchtmayr. Rudolf Feuchtmayr has been running the Autenried Schlossbrauerei since 1993. With their son Peter Feuchtmayr, the family brewing tradition continues into the youngest generation to this day.

0,5 l bottle, new label art design, but still old school. A very dark brown in the glass, one finger head. Malty sweetness on the nose. Starts very malty, sweet, light dark fruity, in the second row warming alcohol. Low bitterness in the late aftertaste. Be careful, easy to drink! Good one!

0,5 l bottle from Bierzwerg. New label art design. Pours out dark unclear orange, light tanned massive head. Low wheat, yeast and clove on the nose. Starts with a mid bitterness, banana, yeast, light alcoholic. Later more fruity with hidden alcohol, hints of vanilla and influences of roasted malt. Nice one!
