Bottle. A clear, dark amber beer with a small, dense, off-white to beige head. The aroma is quite vegetal, with some alcohol notes and fruityness. The flavor is a tad better, still rather vegetal. Some caramel notes and a little bitterness. Warming and full-bodied, a bit heavy on the carbonation. The finish is warming and slightly bitter, and the unpleasant dms flavor is still present. A rather poor doppelbock. 110601

Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, brown sugar sweet, raisin - dark dried berry sweet, malty. Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. A clear, pale golden beer with a small, dense, white head. Very weak nose, just a touch of pils. The flavor is pretty much the same, weak that is. Medium body, quite dry. A super boring beer that also quenches the thirst and drinks easy. 110417
