In 1964 Alois Rudolph handed over the business to his nephew Leonhard Feuchtmayr. Rudolf Feuchtmayr has been running the Autenried Schlossbrauerei since 1993. Flascherl (Adventlichen Dank am See!): Golden, hazy, medium-sized and stable creamy white head, moderate sweet honeyish-malty nose, mild bitterness underneath, delicate boozy traces anywhere in the background; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied, unfortunately a bit fizzy; sweet malty and honeyish finish, presumably some caramelly traces included, mild herbal bitterness in the aftertaste. Slušný Bock...

Bottle. Licorice roast aroma. Blacksparkly offwhite head. Medium full body, mellow mouthfeel. Licorice root, molassis, burnt caramel, roast, smoke, dry toasted wooden notes. On the sweet side for a porter, but enough edges and features to keep it interesting. Quite drinkable.

500ml bottle. Opalescent, mahogany colour with ruby shimmer and average, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Sweet-ish, dark malty aroma, notes of malt lozenge, a touch of dark caramel, burnt caramel, rock sugar, toasty, nutty overtones. Taste is minimally sweet, dark malty, slightly toasty, minimally diluted notes of malt lozenge, a touch of dark caramel, slightly nutty and minimally chocolately undertones, light grassy overtones. Watery texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously minimally metallic-repellent palate, fine, soft, creamy carbonation. Typical Bavarian Dunkel, sweet-ish, not overly roasty - OK.

Flascherl (Vielen Dank am See! ): Unexpectedly copper coloured, hazy, big loose off-white head, that slowly collapses, moderate bitter-sweet aroma of grassy and herbal-spicy hops with a soft sweet (caramelly) malty background; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, surely medium bodied; lingering spicy bitter and caramelly finish. A well balanced goody...

Heller Weizenbock mit 7.3 % Alk. und unbekannter Stammwürze. Fruchtig, aromatischer Geruch (erinnert an Quitte). Fruchtig im Geschmack (die tolle Aromatik von Quitte kommt noch mal durch), sämige Getreidenoten, man schmeckt auch den hohen Alkoholgehalt. Ein schönes Bier.

Flascherl (...vielen Dank Stefan!): Very deep amber (with a ruby sheen) coloured, medium-sized and slowly collapsing off-white head, sweet-bitter nose of roasted/toasted malt, caramel and traces of dried fruits; moderate to robust sweet-bitter flavour with a very delicate acidity, medium to full bodied, a bit fizzy; lingering - and a bit drier - dark-malty to toasty finish, maybe some chocolatey traces detectable. Nothing wrong with it, well drinkable...
