Description
Offering unique hop-forward ales, crisp lagers, barrel-aged rarities and one of the Northwest’s most extensive wild & sour programs, Block 15 produces a range of artfully crafted beers, brewed with a nod toward fresh ingredients and fresh thinking.

We began serving up fine beer and food at our downtown Corvallis brewpub in 2008, and have since opened up a European-style pub—Caves Bier & Kitchen—as well as the Block 15 Brewery & Tap Room in south Corvallis. We are proud to have remained brewer-owned from day one.

Our 20bbl production brewery, built in 2015 and located in the shadow of the coastal range in south Corvallis, is the workhorse of our brewing operations. In addition to an increased-capacity brewhouse, our production brewery houses custom-designed Uni-tanks, a custom-fabricated mixing tank, a Meheen bottling line, and a Wild Goose canning line.

Sample at the brewpub. Pours a murky pomegranate juice color with a minimal white head and sparse lacing. Tart fruit aroma with touches of wheat. Light body with a tart fruit character and what I can only assume is a Marion berry flavor. Wheaty and malty notes in the background. The finish is tart berries and lingers a bit. Decent overall.

KLCC Microbrewfest ’09: Nice amber pour with a fruity, malty, and toffee aroma. Flavor is a little more earthy than expected; still some fruity, toffee, and citrus elements in the background. Even a touch bready. Finishes with some citrus hops.
