Description
Offering unique hop-forward ales, crisp lagers, barrel-aged rarities and one of the Northwest’s most extensive wild & sour programs, Block 15 produces a range of artfully crafted beers, brewed with a nod toward fresh ingredients and fresh thinking.

We began serving up fine beer and food at our downtown Corvallis brewpub in 2008, and have since opened up a European-style pub—Caves Bier & Kitchen—as well as the Block 15 Brewery & Tap Room in south Corvallis. We are proud to have remained brewer-owned from day one.

Our 20bbl production brewery, built in 2015 and located in the shadow of the coastal range in south Corvallis, is the workhorse of our brewing operations. In addition to an increased-capacity brewhouse, our production brewery houses custom-designed Uni-tanks, a custom-fabricated mixing tank, a Meheen bottling line, and a Wild Goose canning line.

Thick white head. Hoppy aroma, like an IPA. Malt comes out in the body with a pleasant finish

16 oz. can, pours a lightly hazed pale golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma has spicy hops, light pine, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour has some spicy pinecones, crisp biscuity malt, and a strange floral character. Lots of spicy pinecones and weird floral notes on the finish.

473mL can. Pours hazy pale gold with a white head. Pine, dank oils, and juicy tropical fruit on the nose. Flavour has dry pine, bitter resins, a bit grainy. There's something in the hops that I'm not a huge fan of, but this is still a really well-made IPA.

Big malt base, medium hop, rich and resiny, light orange and grapefruit. Honestly, this was probably different from the one released two years ago, but I'm not sure I want to try to unpack that. It was released again this spring, but I didn't get a number on it.

Pint can. Pineapple aroma with notes of tangerine, papaya, grassy hops, orange and grapefruit. Pours clear golden colored with a large white head that has excellent retention and some lacing. Starts with juicy pineapple, papaya and tangerine flavors. Finishes dry but still quite smooth with orange, grapefruit and grassy hop flavors. Pretty nice IPA.
