Description
The company Pivovara Hrvačić jdoo from Sisak was founded in 2018 with the aim of producing craft beer, as the main activity. The idea of the Old Charlie's brand, named after the four types of craft beers we produce (Pale Ale, Red Ale, Dark Ale and American Pale Ale), is the promotion of blues and jazz music.
With a lot of work and effort, our desire is to satisfy the different tastes of craft beer lovers with the quality of our products. In order to achieve that goal, we use only the highest quality raw materials for our beer. Since we have formed the recipe of our beer in a way that agrees with a certain type of food, our goal is to offer our products to restaurants, but also pubs and cafes where guests want to enjoy a glass of premium beer and good music.
Drink, eat and listen to what you love and enjoy!

jedan pale ale iz Sisak. Da, iz Siska. Nisam siguran jesam li ikada probao sisačku pivu. Lijepo je vidjeti da i tamo ima crafting kulture.

Bottle shared with and massive thanks to Hrabren! The brewery tick I needed to complete all Croatian regions! Near black with a short lived tan head. Aroma of roast, oxidization, chocolate and caramel. Flavour is above moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Light medium bodied with light carbonation.

Bottle, 0.5l. Deep brown, almost black pour, huge frothy brown head. Very good retention, long lasting head, nice lacing on the glass as it goes down. Nice on the nose, toasted caramel, mild roast, nuts, chocolate notes. Subtle fruitiness in the background. Thin to medium body, lively carbonation. Average mouthfeel and texture, moderately chewy, fizzy, easily drinkable. Balanced bittersweet taste. Malty aroma, roasted malts, toasted caramel. Nuts, bready. Forest fruits, berries, hints of chocolate. Subtle stickiness, mild lingering roasty bitterness. Medium lasting finish, dry. Good.

Bottled 500ml. -Courtesy of hrabren, shared with him and Marko. Unclear darker golden coloured, medium size off-white head, chlorophenol, beet root and nettle in the nose. The taste is almost the same with boiled potatoes added to the notes. Not for selling around for sure.

On tap at Fakin Craft Bar, shared with Marko. Dark brown, small tan head. Roasty and toasty notes, some fruity esters, soft oxidation, slightly metallic. Creamy texture. A bit rough. Roasty and burnt. No fruity or hoppy character except for the bitter, finish that is also burnt and roasty.

Bottle, thanks Hrabren! Shared with ogivlado. Misty amber-orange body. Smells like cooked carrots with a dash of celery root. The taste is smoother, some honey, vague citrus, ice tea. And then it finishes with more carrot. Deeply flawed, homebrewish. Needs major tweaking. Unacceptable as a commercial beer. And this is cold. Would probably go even further down slightly warmer.
