On Tap at the Meridian brewery/taproom Hazy deep orange light amber. Mostly just light pale malt aroma and very light modest hoppiness. Lacking the clean crisp fresh hoppiness of a classic West coast PA. Just OK

Grunt fill from Albertsons. Light hazy golden, flat pour. Peppery aroma carries through to taste. Peaches a no-show. Chilis bring some heat, but not a lot, but also dominate the whole brew.

Draft at brewery. Yams make this kind of sweet, without it being a sweet stout. Makes sense? Not really. Kind of sugary. Some metallic notes on the finish.

Taster at brewery. Medium brown, slight yeasty aroma. Does not seem as strong as the ABV would dictate. Still debating the style. Belgian for sure.
