Sample at Porch Growler. Dark brown pour with a medium thick tan head that diminishes gradually to a dense film. Patchy lacing. Aroma of bourbon, roast malt and chocolate. Full-bodied with flavors of oaky bourbon, caramel malt, chocolate fudge and earthy hops. The finish is oaky with a bourbon and malt aftertaste. Good beer overall.

Cloudy bright reddish-maroon color with a medium pinkish-white head that burns away steadily to a film. Short strings of lace. Tart berry and citrus aroma with wheat and malt notes. Light-bodied with flavors of blackberry, lime, wheat and doughy malt. The finish is tart with a citrus and mixed berry aftertaste. Good beer all around.

Bomber from Tavour. Almost black pour, a few brown bubbles then flat. Aroma is Mexican chocolate, savory notes, peppers. Taste pops with a healthy dose of cinnamon and chilis, coffee accents. Spicy, mildly sweet.

Quarantine Beer #085 sampled from crowler at home on 04/25/2020. Black pour with brown around the edges, and a medium thick beige head that diminishes gradually to a film. Patches of lace. The aroma consists of roast malt, chocolate and coffee. Full-bodied with flavors of roasty malt, chocolate fudge and espresso. The finish is roasty with a chocolatey malt aftertaste. Good beer all around.
