Keg at Man in The Moon, Stockholm. Clear golden, small head. Rich aroma of quality coffee. Mid sweet with light-medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Firm, yet light and soft malt. Lightly grainy and spicy with lots of coffee, some vanilla. Mid bitter finish. Really well made beer, but coffee being this dominant it should be classified a S/H/V here.

Tap at Man in The Moon. Clear yellow with a white head. Aroma of ground coffee, cream and light roast. Almost a bit like the espresso chocolate you get in Merci-packs. Taste follows with some vanilla too. A bit sweetish and thin, but overall quite enjoyable. Holds up coffee well.

Sample at the tap room. Clear golden color with a medium thick white head that recedes gradually to a film. Short strings of lace. Tropical fruit, coffee and wheat in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of salty citrus, coffee and yeast. The finish is tart and roasty with a fruit and coffee aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Sample at the tap room. Clear brownish-amber color with a medium eggshell white head that recedes gradually to an outer ring. Small patches of lace. Aroma of malt, fruit and spice. Light-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, banana and spice. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at the tap room. The beer is a clear golden color with a thin white head that evaporates quickly to a wispy film. Short strings of lace. Tart citrus, wheat and malt in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of salted citrus, yeast and doughy malt. The finish is tart with a salty citrus aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Bottle at Shelton Fest VIP bottle share. Pours gold with small off white head. The aroma is toasted malt and cream wheat. Medium body, toast, wheat, grain, light cream flavor, decent.

On draught at Bob's Bar. The beer is a slightly hazy orange-gold color with a medium thin white head that evaporates steadily to a film. Sparse strings of lacing. Aroma of citrus, hops, honey and malt. Medium body with flavors of citrusy hops, floral honey and grainy malt. The finish is mildly bitter with an orange and hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at the Rhinegeist Rare Beer Fest 10/28/2017. Clear copper color with a medium bone white head that diminishes gradually to an outer ring. Stringy lace. Aroma of oak, yeast, fruit and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of tart citrus, herbal yeast, oak and doughy malt. The finish is mildly funky with a lingering citrusy aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 6/13/2017. Pours lightly hazy medium orange/amber color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of grapefruit, tangerine, peach, pineapple, passionfruit, mango, melon, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, light pepper/pine, caramel, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate dark/bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, peach, pineapple, passionfruit, mango, melon, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, light pepper, pine, caramel, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus rind, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, peach, pineapple, passionfruit, mango, melon, lemon/orange rind, pepper, pine, caramel, toasted bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate dark/bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/sticky, and fairly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Mildly increasing warmth of 10% after the finish. Overall this is a very nice DIPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate dark/bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink for the ABV, with the mellowly bitter/drying finish. Very nice mix of juicy, dank, and earthy hop complexity; good sized malt backbone, but not overly sweet/heavy feeling. Definitely a Midwest style type DIPA. A very enjoyable offering.

Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of coffee, vanilla, pale malt/corn, and light earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of nutty coffee, vanilla, cream, cracker, corn, white bread dough, biscuit, and light herbal/grassy earthiness. Minimal herbal/grassy hop bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of nutty coffee, vanilla, cream, cracker, corn, white bread dough, biscuit, and light herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice robustness and balance of coffee, vanilla, pale malt/corn, and light earthy hop flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Minimal dryness. Medium carbonation and light body; with a very smooth, fairly creamy/grainy, and slightly sticky mouthfeel that is good. Not too watery feeling. Perfectly clean lager flavors, zero yeast notes present; but probably covered up by the coffee/vanilla. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5%. Overall this is a very good flavored cream ale. All around nice robustness and balance of coffee, vanilla, pale malt/corn, and light earthy hop flavors; very smooth, clean, and refreshing to drink. Very well balanced between all flavors. I felt the base beer was far superior. This feels thinner/lighter on body/flavor. Not quite as crisp on the finish. Could have benefited using a darker roasted coffee blend for more complexity. A very tasty and enjoyable offering otherwise.
