Sampled on draft this beer poured a bright yellow-gold color with a large fluffy white head that lingered and left very good lacing. The aroma was strong bacon and smoke. The flavor was strong bacon and smoke followed by wood and an underlying yeasty not. Very long smoky finish. Medium body. Ok.

Sample at Daily Growler UA. The beer pours a hazy orange-amber color with a medium thin white head that recedes steadily to a film. Stringy lacing. Aroma of coconut, citrus and malt. Full-bodied with flavors of coconut, citrusy hops and malt. The finish is hoppy with a toasted coconut aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Bomber. The beer is black with very thin brown edges. Smallish dark brown head, fades away after a couple minutes. The aroma has a big dark chocolate flavor up front. Fairly strong, rich coffee note and plenty of vanilla. A touch of spice. Cinnamon is noticeable but doesn’t get in the way of the other flavors. Nice backing caramel sweetness. The flavor is medium sweet. Lots of chocolate, vanilla and coffee. Again, the cinnamon is present but gentle enough to enhance the overall flavor rather than take it over. Pretty strong spice note but it doesn’t overwhelm and integrates into the sweet flavors nicely. Nice to find a spiced stout with strong but well done heat. Very full mouthfeel. Thick but not syrupy. Big and soft. This is a very good spiced stout, up there with much bigger name bottles.
