Sample at the "Tap Room Anniversary with Special Bottle Release" event on 01/23/2016. Clear pale golden color with a thin white head that dissipates quickly to a sparse film. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of cinnamon and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of pale malts, cinnamon and corn. The finish is sweet with a cinnamon aftertaste. It works for this base beer, above average overall.

Sample at the "Tap Room Anniversary with Special Bottle Release" event on 01/23/2016. The beer pours a clear pale golden color with a medium thin white head that dissipates steadily to a film. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of roasted coffee and malt. Light-bodied with a roasty coffee and malt character, with a touch of sweetcorn in the background. The finish is roasty with a lingering mild coffee aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at the brewpub. This Braggot pours a clear reddish-amber color with a thin white head that evaporates quickly to a wispy film. Spotty lacing. Aroma of herbal honey, malt and fruit. Medium body with flavors of sweet honey, malt an mild fruit. The finish is sweet with a floral honey aftertaste. Decent overall, although Wolf’s Ridge and Brothers Drake individually are capable of better than this.

On draught at The Pint Room. This brew pours a brownish-amber color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily. Strings of lacing. Aroma of malt, spice and fruit. Medium body with flavors of caramel malt, pitted fruit and spice. The finish is fruity yeast and malt. Decent overall.

Sample at the Ace Of Cups Moonlight Beerfest on 10/03/2015. Clear orange-amber color with a medium thin off-white head that diminishes steadily. Stringy lacing. Aroma of malt, caramel and hops. Light body with flavors of caramel malt, hops and a touch a fruit. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample from cask at the North Market Ohio Craft Brew Festival on 09/12/2015. Dark brown color with a medium creamy tan head that diminishes steadily to a film. Patchy lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt, chocolate and coconut. Medium to full body with flavors of chocolate malt, toasted coconut and mild coffee. The finish is roasty with a chocolatey coconut aftertaste. Solid beer all around.

Sample at Knotty Pine. The beer pours a clear amber-orange color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt, fruit and hops. Light-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, ripe fruit and earthy hops. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at the brewpub. Clear copper color with a medium foamy eggshell white head that diminishes gradually to a film. Strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, piney hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of resiny hops, grapefruit and roast malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hops aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Nitro sample at the brewpub. The beer is a brown-black color with a medium creamy tan head that recedes gradually to a film. Patches of lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of roasted coffee, malt and chocolate. Light to medium body with flavors of chocolate malt, espresso and a touch of hops. The finish is creamy with a mocha aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
