Sample at the taproom during the "Taproom Grand Opening" event on 01/24/2015. Brownish-black color with a medium foamy tan head that recedes gradually. Patchy lacing on the glass. Aroma of chocolate, malt and rum. Full-bodied with flavors of buttery rum, roasted malt and sweet chocolate. The finish is sweet with a rum raisin aftertaste. Solid beer all around.

Sample at the taproom during the "Taproom Grand Opening" event on 01/24/2015. Brownish-black pour with a medium foamy light brown head that diminishes gradually. Sticky rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted coffee, malt and chocolate. Full-bodied with a strong coffee character and notes of roast malt and mild chocolate and hops. The finish is roasty with a lingering coffee aftertaste. Spot on beer that is very good all around.

Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate and coffee. Full-bodied with flavors of roast malt, bakers chocolate and mild coffee. The finish is sweet with a chocolatey aftertaste. Enjoyable beer all around.

Sample at Prohibition Gastro Lounge. Clear dark amber color with a medium creamy light beige head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Aroma of smoked malt, caramel and hops. Light to medium body with flavors of smoked meat, roast malt and mild hops. The finish is smoky with a charred malt aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at the brewpub. Slightly hazy dark amber color with a medium thin off-white head that recedes steadily to a sparse outer ring. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of pumpkin spices and malt. Medium body with flavors of nutmeg, vanilla and roast malt. The finish is sweet with a clove and nutmeg aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample on nitro at the brewpub. Dark brown color with a medium creamy beige head that diminishes gradually. Sticky sheets of lacing on the glass. Roasted malt, chocolate and coffee in the nose. Light-bodied with a roasty coffee and malt character, and sweet chocolate in the background. The finish is creamy and sweet with a chocolate malt aftertaste. Above average overall.

Sample at the brewpub. Cloudy straw color with a medium white head that recedes gradually to a dense film. Small patches of lacing. Aroma of fruit, wheat and spice. Light-bodied with flavors of herbal wheat, fruit and biscuit malt. The finish is fruity with a citrus and wheat aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

Light body with flavors of blackberry, yeast and wheat. The finish is fruity with a tart berry aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at the Ohio Craft Brew Fest on 09/13/2014: Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a thin white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Sparse sticky strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops, citrus and malt. Medium body with flavors of resiny hops, grapefruit and bready malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hops aftertaste. Decent overall.
