From tap @ the source. Big, egg-white, long lasting. Colour is coppery, hazy. Aroma is rich fruity, tangerine, orange, caramel, biscuits, mellow tropical fruits. Taste is medium malty base, orange, citrus, bit tropical fruits, long lasting bitterness, caramel, herbal, bready touch, medium carbonation, good balanced for the style, enjoyed for sure.

Vor einigen Jahren trank in der ostslowakischen Stadt Poprad ein Bier aus der Restaurant-Brauerei Egidius. Jetzt finde ich dieses Bier mit dem Titel Tatras in einem Supermarkt in Bratislava in einem Craftbier-Kühlschrank unter anderem dieses Bier, das an der gleichen Adresse gebraut wird -offenbar gab es da einmal einen Neustart. Das Bier ist ein nachtschwarzes Getränk mit einem intensiven Mokka- und Schokoladenaroma. Es ist sehr süffig, aber nicht allzu trocken. Hat mir recht gut geschmeckt.

20/5/2022. On tap at Beerdock, Bratislava. Pours cloudy pale orange brown with a large frothy white head. Aroma is sweet, toffee, ripe banana, orange, light herb, sweetmeal biscuit edge. Medium plus sweetness with some light but developing bitterness. Moderate body, soft carbonation. Sweet finish. Likeable.

1l plastic bottle (4,9%) from Sherpa Caffe in Starý Smokovec. Head is medium, pink white, quick gone. Colour is red coppery, light hazy. Aroma is red berries, fruity, blackcurrant, bit wheat. Taste is medium malty base, wheat, blackcurrant, red berries, light sour fruit, bit watery yet refreshing.
