Yellowish beige head. Clear dark brown body. Earthy roasted sugar aroma with soy sauce notes. Dry-sweet roasty toffee taste with sugary notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish roasty sugary aftertaste with dried plum notes. Nice. Highly drinkable, clean, and distinct taste. (0.33l bottle from Naito-san.)

Big white head. Clear deep amber body. Fruity resiny wooden aroma with strawy notes. Dryish fruity resiny taste with strawy notes. Mid-to-light body. Mild mouthfeel. Dryish tropical fruit and cedar wood aftertaste with resiny notes. Very nice. Clean and harmonic. (0.33l bottle from Naito-san.)

Small white head quickly disappears. Clear yellow body. Fruity bananaish aroma with herbal notes. Dry-sweetish fruity banana taste with mealy herbal notes. Mid-bodied. Mild mouthfeel. Dryish fruity oily aftertaste with herbal notes. Mild, light, clean, drinkable. Nice! (0.33l bottle from Naito-san.)

Draught at the brewpub. Dark brown with orange tints. Roasty nose with light molasses. Sweet molasses with roastiness, wood, some dark chocolate. Also a strong mineral taste. A bit bland and one-dimensional. Has a bitter finish. Too gassy, and a bit thin. OK, but more of a schwarzbier than a real bock.

Draught at the brewpub. Hazy copper color. Little aroma—some grapefruit and other citrus. Fruity flavor with citrus, especially grapefruit, strong bitterness and a slight metallic character. Slight esters too, with banana. A bit too spritzy. Strange, but the decent bitterness saves it.

Draught at the brewpub. Rather pale yellow color. Creamy, clove and banana nose. Some vanilla too. Sweet, creamy banana flavor at first, with a light tartness. Spicy. Medium body with a somewhat strange spritziness. Somewhat soda-like. Flavors dies quickly, though, and it become very minerally and watery through the 100 ml glass! Actually amazing how this beer deteriorated in the glass. The first sip showed a decent weizen. By the end it was close to terrible.
