Can from the brewery - been sitting on this one for a minute - this straight up smells and tastes like cold brew coffee (and damn fine cold brew) from the front to the middle - smooth, roasty, dry, lightly smoky - a bit of dark malt sweetness starts to build, only to be counterbalanced some deeply tannic character near the finish - lingering smoke and earthy malt - it’s a damn fine beer.

Can from the brewery - states 6.3% abv - this beer is making me think I don’t like Vic Secret that much - the hops seem showcased well, but I taste a lot of cheesy character, camphor, garlic - there is a pleasant spiciness and a nice dankness, but the other less pleasant qualities wash this out for me - meh.

Can from the brewery - lightly hazy gold - oh yeah, they hopped the shit out of this one - bursting with citrus and dankness, with tons of tropical mango and pineapple goodness, along with a heaping helping of white grape supplies by the Nelson hops - finishes spicy and bitter without being astringent or overly acidic - yes.

Can from the brewery - whoa, where has this hop been all my beer-drinking life? - complex fruit profile of peach, mango, other mixed tropical notes - assertive bitterness follows, along with moderate to heavy dankness through the finish - a little lemon balm and camphor character - interesting and complex hop characteristics here.

Can from the brewery - it’s been a minute since I’ve had a new Novel Strand beer - I’ve missed what they can do with hops; how vibrant and fresh their character is - this one is bursting with grape, herbaceous notes, pepper, a finishing darkness - dry and bitter finish, with a little kiss of citrus - nice.

A not too bitter ipa, close to neipa style, clean, super dry. Well made but not for me again. Novel strand denver

Not to style. It’s a clean lightish lager. Crisp and pretty good, but s little foggy muddled ferment. Novel strand denver

Not as good as any german pils. It’s more of a modern hoppy lager, but it is clean and crisp. Novel strand denver
