Tap at the brewpub. Glowing, cloudy yellow with lace. Nose is a bit pissy, lemon. Nice enough citrus flavor, rough astringent malts (extract?), zest and pith, grapefruit, a touch of tropical fruit. Decent to start with, but a rough finish. Still, one of the better ones tonight.

Tap at the brewpub. Dark brown with an iff-white head. Nose of cocoa, chocolate, cream. Rough-ass extract malt flavor, dirty, somewhat foul, and does not really fit the porter style. Brown ale.

Tap at the brewpub. Cloudy orange with lace. Nose of grapefruit, brett funk, a bit of acid. Interesting bretty, or almost bretty, flavor, a bit of funk, grapefruit. Not sure what they did here, or why, but it is almost a decent brett PA. It’s certainly not a pilsner. Would like to see if they can make this perfect.

Tap at the brewpub. Thick, dark, amber-orange color with lace. Nose of apricots and biscuits. Sweet and fruity, stone fruit, apricots, a bit of prickly bitterness. Decent enough. Still needs some work.
