pitch black color. Dark brown head. Lots of fake hazelnut and dark chocolate notes going on in the nose. Rich dark chocolate fudge mouth with lots of hazelnut. Not tons of roastiness but a bit sweeter and it works well for the style. Low carbonation. Nose didn’t appeal but overall beer isn’t bad and has decent depth.

light hazy golden color. Frothy white head. Dank juicy mango and orange gummy bears in the nose. Low carbonation fairly juicy but way too dry and astringent. Low bitterness. The nose is actually not bad, but very harsh finish

Tap at the brewery. All 7 of us thought the Amber and the IPA were labeled backwards, but the brewer was serving. Dark amber-orange with lace. Thick caramel nose, biscuits, some diacetyl. Soft, oily palate, with sweet butterscotch and caramel and a rough finish. A bit off, but not horrible.

Tap at the brewery. Pale amber-orange, hazy, with a low, fine head. Nose of caramel, orange, some grapefruit, biscuits. Sweet, biscuity malt flavor, oranges, some esters, ok citrus. Light, and the carbonation is a bit flat. This is less an amber than the IPA. Closer to an APA. Not bad, though.
