Tap at the Gifu Beer Matsuri 2015. A wheat ale, using ale yeast, with coriander, nutmeg, and orange peel. Cloudy gold, shiny, with a high, fine head. Spicy nose--coriander, nutmeg, orange, biscuity malt. Spicy, fruity flavor, juicy. orange and lemon, spicy. Not overly sweet, so pretty crisp and refreshing, though too much spice for me.

Tap at the Gifu Beer Matsuri 2015. Rather confusing name. The brewer doesn’t like IPAs and this made his version of one. Dark brown, cloudy, with a low, fine head. Fruity, malty nose, orange, peach, caramel. Fruity, estery flavor, a bit weird malt character--seems like extract.
