Bottle, thanks Sebastian. Grainy nose. Golden, low carbonation, low lacing head. Hayish and grainy malt base, herbal hops come like a shot out of the dark, dry bitterhop finish. Medium chewy body.

Bottle. Pale cloudy yellow, lowish creamy white head. Fairly spicy (clove, vanilla) and citric (lime) nose. Thanks for letting me be the first one to rate it Sebastian. Whitebread base, banana, vanilla, clove retronasal. Relatively lightbodied, sparkly mouthfeel. Fresh weissbier.

(Bottle 50 cl) Clear, pilsener golden with a white head. Clean, malty nose. Medium body with plenty of pilsener malt and a very distinct alcohol - more than what’s really pleasant. Sweet - very sweet - and unbalanced. 160806

An orange beer with an off-white head. The aroma is sweet with light notes of caramel and metal - I guess the metal comes from the alcohol. The flavor is sweet malty with primary notes of caramel, but also with a light note of caramel - again I think it is the alcohol showing off in this metal note.

(on draught at the student pub “Vorlesung”, Bochum) Clear and pale golden colour with a mid-sized steady foamy white head. Light-sweet grainy aroma with grassy hops. Slightly sweet malty and grainy taste, light to medium bodied, crispy carbonation, dry bitter finish with an unpleasant touch of grassy hops. Still drinkable.

On draught (@ Vorlesung, Bochum): Golden coloured, firm, creamy white head, sticking to the glass; grainy, clean, a bit bready nose witrh some hints of grassy hoppiness; slightly sweetish, moderate bitter flavour, creamy mouthfeel; sweetish, slightly bitter finish. Not overwhelming, but decent and pleasant....................

(Bottle 50 cl) Pretty, fully golden with a dense and rather stable head - but still a pale Bock. Malty aroma, malty flavour with an impressively alcohol glow, but still not very heavy. Very drinkable with a marked bitterness in the finish to level out some of the malt sugars. Dominated by nice aroma hops that really satisfies my taste buds. 211001

(Bottle 50 cl) 7,5% ABV in my version. A snow-bock, well, it had to come sooner or later. But it’s certainly far from watery. Dark amber colour. Lovely caramel flavours with a wee metallic edge. In spite of being overly potent with some sweetness this brew is surprisingly light and in no way cloying. Rather wellmade (Doppel)bock. 250802

(Bottle 50 cl) Pale golden, hazy beer with a fine head that leaves a pretty lacework in my glass. Very sharp hop aroma and a way to sharp bitterness that is a bit one-dimensional and spoils some of the fun. 101101

Beautiful dark, clear, copper-amber; little, coloured head, nearly flat. Bready nose, with a lot of earthy overtones, bit of walnut. Bready taste, quite sweet but not cloying. Touch of acidity. Flavour of chestnut purée (mash). Well-bodied, chewy. Slightly slick mouthfeel. Nice, but nowhere surprising typical German. "Good workmanlike performance".
