Black body, with a small, creamy dark beige head. Aroma of dark chocolate, coconut, cinnamon, some coffee, subtle bourbon. Tastes quite similar, with more tobacco and some booze. Full, quite creamy mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation. Finishes medium sweet, moderate roasty, a bit boozy, with dark chocolate, sweet spices, some bourbon. Very tasty sipper! Quite heavy, but still smooth to drink, with the adjuncts well integrated. Didn't get much chili though. Score: 9 / 4 / 8 / 4 / 17

Can. 2022 version with Amarillo hops. Pours a mostly clear orange hue with a medium white head. A light lemon and grassy nose. Sweet, lemons, mild bitter hops, deep citrus. Solid.

1 pint can at home shared by Rob, big thanks. black color, very small coffee colored head. smells bourbon, bitter chocolate, spices, cinnamon, nutmeg, soy sauce. nice to very nice smell. full body, light carbonation. tastes vanilla, nutmeg, cinnamon, heavy spices, bitter chocolate, nutty. finishes light to medium roasty bitter with notes of nutmeg, cinnamon and spices. heavy on the spices, thank god no chilis, also barrels not very noticeable (on the taste).

On tap at Loyal Legion, pours black with a small light brown head. Aroma reveals earthy coffee, light maple, and a hint of cocoa. Flavour is light on the maple, with lots of dark roasted coffee and a hint of cocoa. Lots of maple, roasted, coffee-like and earthy characters on the finish. A little harsh but it's decently made.

On tap at Loyal Legion, pours black with a small light brown head. Nose brings out roasted malt, earthy hops, and some dusty dry cocoa. Flavour is rich and roasted, with lots of roasted malt, light cocoa, and sturdy cocoa. Great balance, with deep roast and adequately hopped. Excellent.
