(bottle) Hazy, pale golden colour with a huge but collapsing foamy white head. Yeasty and wheaty aroma with a stench of overripe fruits and cloves and plastic. Slightly bitter-tart flavour, watery with a moderate carbonation. Slim wheaty base with restrained fruity notes, cardboard and loads of cloves; slim and overly clove-spicy finish. 18.XI.11

bottle from the brewery. Clear pale yellow, small white head. Malty nose with hints of vegetables. Malty, some herbal hops and a touch of boiled vegetables with the first sip - later no more trace of it. Smooth palate, all in all an honest Helles.

Bottle: Golden, hazy, smaller foamy layer, solid clovey and cardboardy nose, ornated by aromas of old onions; watery body, very light sweetish-sourish flavour; spring water and some wheat in the finish. Wow, almost better than Erdinger…

Bottle: Clear, pale golden to golden, small foamy layer, pale malt plus very faint buttery aromas in the nose, hops very well hidden; moderate pretty sweet flavour accompanied by a slight bitterness, light bodied, soft; only a few hops in the fruity-malty finish. Not very Pilsener-like....

(bottle, 33cl-longneck-bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a medium-sized foamy white head. Distinctively grainy and slightly draffy malty aroma with herbal and a tinge of citric hops underneath. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a calm carbonation. Almost a bit sugary malty and slightly grainy taste, covering almost all of the delicately herbal and at most subtle fruity hops profile; sweet malt-accented finish with a restrained hoppy bitterness. Too sweet and one-sided for my liking. 03.XI.11

Moderately sweet flavour with a tinge of sourness, a bit light bodied with a lively carbonation. Wheaty and banana-fruity taste with restrained phenolic spices; sweet and delicately sour finish with rounded wheaty and fruity notes. Classical Hefeweizen. 01.XI.11

unusual 0.33l bottle with very long neck from the brewery. Clear yelow colour, mid-sized white head. Vegetable aromas which are not in the flavour, thank goodness. Shy malty base with herbal-resiny hop flavours, grainy background.

Bottle: Clear, smaller stable off-white head, sweetish malty-fruity nose with traces of molasses(?); mild sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, quite soft; slightly lingering sweet and malt-bitter finish, some hidden fruitiness included. Unspectacular, but still a well-crafted brew…

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Pale malty and slightly draffy aroma with notes of citric and flowery hops. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a light carbonation. Minimally grainy malty body with subtle notes of citrus and herbal accents; sweet malty and mildly bitter hoppy finish. Slightly better than their Helles but again with a very low carbonation. 28.X.11
