Huge thanks to Erzengel for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass dark brown, small head. Roasty malty aroma. Starts mild, malty, caramel hints. Some herbal notes as well. Not as roasty as exspected. Finish well balanced, fine malty with nice hoppy touch. Interesting.

Bottle picked up from Craft Beer webshop, Parchim, Germany and had this at home Saturday 28th January 2023, drinking along with the live Senatsbock tasting again, we had a Chicken Tikka Masala Curry with homemade Onion Bhajis and homemade Garlic and Chilli Nan breads and Raita. Pours dark, dark brown with a mid sized light beige head, chocolate shows initially but overall this tastes a little thin. Nice moutheel, perhaps a little too sweet. Good but bettered by the Wildwuchs, score 3.3

On tap. A hazy deep golden beer with a white head. Aroma of spicy bitter hops, grains, some yeast. Taste of dry grainy malt, spicy hops, hints of fruity hops.

Buddel: Hazy, reddish-amber coloured, small off-white foamy layer, mild to moderate sweetish- aroma of dried fruits and dark (toasted?)!malt; mild to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium to full bodied, not overly soft; shorter malty-fruity finish. Not really convincing…

330ml bottle. Opalescent, ruby colour with average, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, off-white to beige head. Rather weak, dark malty aroma, sweet-ish and minimally spicy notes of malt lozenge. Taste is sweet-ish and slightly bitter roasty, dark malty, slightly bitter hoppy and minimally alcoholic, notes of malt lozenge, some dark caramel; minimally warming, alcoholic finish. Dissolved sugar enriched, watery texture, smooth and slightly dry palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Sweet but still in balance, well matching, warming alcoholic partition, a bit simple - not bad.
