July 2008: Reviewed this in a Wetherspoons pub in London, first time I’ve had a cask plum beer. Hand pulled half-pint. Mid-amber in colour with no head, just a thin white collar around the glass. Sweet Vitoria Plum smell, sickly in fact. At first I really liked it, then the sickly sweetness from the aroma came into the taste and mouthfeel. It was just too over the top for me. The beer seemed to get sicklier and sicklier. Interesting, but not a session beer that’s for sure.

Very light color and very active. Bright white foam head. Extremely bright and lightly corny, very well emulating the more characterless lagers

Bottle. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. yellow colour. Light malty and hoppy aroma. Light bitter flavior. Shport light bitter finish. Watery palate. Ok but a little boring.

Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted, vegetables, cardboard, butter notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, pale malt, cardboard, light sweet malt, butter notes. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, light hoppy. Flavour is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, sweet malt, harsh malt - hop notes.
